Privacy & Contact
Last updated 13 June 2026.
Prompts for Writing is a small, independent writing tool. This page explains, in plain terms, what we collect and how to get in touch.
What we collect
- Email signups. If you ask to be notified at launch, we store the email address you give us so we can send you one note the day the site goes live. That is all we store, and we never sell or share it.
- Anonymous analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. No names, no profiles, no fingerprinting.
- Optional Google Analytics. Outside the EU and UK, basic Google Analytics may load to help us improve the page, with IP anonymization on. In the EU and UK it loads only if you accept the consent banner. You can decline with no loss of function.
Your choices
We will email you only once, the day the site launches, and never again unless you sign up for something on the finished site. Ask us to delete your data at any time using the form below and we will remove it.
